As an experienced homebuilder and residential developer, Austin Eaton offers a unique perspective in the Lakeville, MN real estate market. His deep knowledge of home design, construction quality, and community development gives clients an advantage—especially those exploring new construction homes or downsizing into a simpler lifestyle.
Whether you’re selling a longtime family home, moving into a 55+ community, or building new in Dakota County, Austin provides unmatched attention to detail. He identifies potential issues early, explains the pros and cons of layouts and materials, and simplifies every step of the process.
For Austin, real estate is about more than transactions—it’s about communication and trust. He prioritizes keeping clients informed and tailoring each plan to their unique goals. His role, as he puts it, is to “Set clear expectations and arm clients with the tools they need to make confident, informed decisions.”
Austin has called Lakeville home for more than 12 years after originally relocating for his wife’s career. What began as a short stay became a permanent love for Minnesota, its communities, and its lifestyle. Today, his local knowledge of the Twin Cities South Metro neighborhoods, schools, and amenities helps clients find the perfect fit.
Outside of real estate, Austin is an accomplished golfer who once competed in the 2005 Masters Tournament at Augusta National—an achievement that speaks to his discipline, competitive spirit, and ability to perform at the highest level. He now enjoys golf at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club, morning walks with his two Sheepadoodles, and family time with his wife Pamela and their two teenage sons.

The past 37 years of my professional life has been spent building positive relationships with people at Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights as a teacher. My charge was to help others achieve goals, solve problems, and design pathways to best reach and guide my students. My career path may have changed but my approach in dealing with people has not. In education we lived by the motto "do what is best for kids." My motto as a real estate agent is "do what is best for your client." For me, the crossover from education to real estate is natural as I can utilize 35 years of developing personal skills to help a new and different set of clients.
